These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Checkhoo! vehicle check service, provided by Carhoo Group Limited. By accessing or using this service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Welcome to Checkhoo! These Terms and Conditions explain how you can use the Checkhoo! vehicle check service and the rules that apply when purchasing a vehicle report.

The Vehicle Check Service
Checkhoo! provides vehicle history reports generated using vehicle registration numbers.
Reports are created instantly when requested and are based on information obtained from third-party data providers.
Each report represents information available at the time it is generated.
Vehicle information may change over time and reports should not be considered permanent or continuously updated.
Third-Party Data Providers
Checkhoo! acts as a platform and reseller of vehicle data.
Vehicle report information is supplied by third-party data providers including VDI Check and other external data sources.
Checkhoo! does not create, control or maintain the underlying vehicle databases used to generate reports.
Because the information originates from third-party sources, Checkhoo! cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current or error-free.
Report Accuracy and Limitations
Vehicle reports are intended to help inform vehicle purchasing decisions but should not be relied upon as the sole source of information.
Checkhoo! does not guarantee:
• that all vehicle information is accurate or complete
• that all historical incidents or records are included
• that databases used by third-party providers are up to date
Users should always carry out additional checks when purchasing a vehicle, including inspections, documentation checks and professional advice where appropriate.
Refund Policy
Vehicle reports are generated instantly and specifically for the vehicle requested.
For this reason, orders cannot be cancelled and reports cannot be refunded once delivered.
Refunds may only be issued if:
• the report cannot be delivered, or
• the report contains a material error caused by a fault in Checkhoo! systems.
Errors originating from third-party data providers are not grounds for refund.
Refunds will be handled fairly and in accordance with UK consumer law.
User Accounts
Users may create an account in order to store and access their vehicle reports.
Reports are linked to the user account and may be stored indefinitely.
Reports represent data available at the time they were generated and may become outdated over time.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Checkhoo! service.
You must not:
• use bots, automated scripts or scraping tools to access the service
• perform bulk or automated vehicle searches
• attempt to harvest vehicle data or replicate the service
• attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the platform
Checkhoo! may suspend or restrict access if misuse, automation or suspicious activity is detected.
AI Generated Summaries
Checkhoo! may provide AI-generated summaries of vehicle report data to make reports easier to understand.
These summaries are provided for informational convenience only.
AI summaries:
• may contain errors or omissions
• do not replace the full report data
• do not constitute professional advice
Users should rely on the full vehicle report rather than the AI summary alone.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Checkhoo! platform, including report formatting, branding, and software systems, is owned by Carhoo Group Limited or its licensors.
Vehicle data contained in reports may also be subject to intellectual property rights belonging to third-party data providers.
Reports are provided for personal use only and must not be copied, resold or redistributed.
Limitation of Liability
Checkhoo! provides access to vehicle data supplied by third-party providers.
To the extent permitted by law:
• Checkhoo! is not responsible for inaccuracies in third-party databases
• Checkhoo! does not guarantee that reports will identify every issue relating to a vehicle
Checkhoo!’s total liability for any claim relating to a vehicle report is limited to the amount paid for that report.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
Suspension or Termination
Checkhoo! may suspend or terminate access to the service where:
• misuse or automated activity is detected
• these Terms are breached
• fraudulent activity is suspected
Changes to the Service
Checkhoo! may update or modify the service or these Terms from time to time.
Where significant changes occur, updated Terms will be published on the website.
Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
